JORDI SANS feat. JONI WITZI Trio
it's a creative proposal, with freshness and elegance, with the aim to explore the music that converges around jazz from a contemporary perspective: with personal arrangements, space for improvisation and musical dialogue, and a voice of its own that manifests its many influences. Stylish, casual and energetic music that will not leave you indifferent.
Among the various performances, stands out the participation in the XXXVIII Ripoll International Music Festival and the XXII Off Costa Brava Jazz Festival in Catalonia, the XLIX Festival de Música de Maó and the San Diego de Alaior Winter Cycle in the Balearic Islands and at the Ramos Carrión Theater in Zamora.
JAZZIN' DISNEY CLASSICS
The relationship between jazz music and Disney classics goes back a long way.... They come to mind the voice of Louis Armstrong and his Hot Jazz performing The Jungle Book, the lovely ballads “Someday My Prince Will Come” from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs or “When You Wish Upon A Star” from Pinocchio recorded in the early 1960s by trumpeter Miles Davis and pianist Bill Evans, respectively. The fantastic and funny soundtrack of The Aristocats, the afro-cuban jazz that sounds under the sea in The Little Mermaid, the blues from 101 Dalmatians or more recent films such as Toy Story... We have also set out to adapt others Disney classics in the jazz genre, such as Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Aladdin, Up or Frozen... Definitely, melodies that resonate in the collective imagination of many generations, now reinterpreted around jazz with the own voice of this quartet. A journey through time to live a genuine experience. Heigh-Ho... let’s go!
JAZZ NOIR
From a selection of the best film noir soundtracks (most of them in jazz style in their original version) we will travel through emblematic works of the seventh art such as Casablanca, The Third Man, Perry Mason, the James Bond saga or Blue Velvet among others, with a special mention to the maestro Henry Mancini, reviewing his works such as Peter Gunn or The Pink Panther. Thus, it is a perspective from the musical side of this dark and sensual genre, reminiscent of the 1950s, which will take us to a glorious era of cinema... and music.

JAZZ IN PERSPECTIVE
A repertoire that runs through the history of jazz: from compositions written by Broadway musicals, melodies by Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie, memories of classic recordings by Miles Davis or Thelonius Monk, samba and bossanova by Antonio Carlos Jobim or the Afro-Cuban influence in the bebop.
